Presenter: Bereket Habte Selassie will discuss his memoire: The Crown and the Pen: The Memoirs of a Lawyer Turned Rebel. Selassie is a professor of African Studies and a professor of Law at the University of North Carolina. He is a former IPS Associate Fellow, a former representative to the United Nations for the Eritrean Peoples Liberation Front. He is a former attorney general of Ethiopia, and the principal author of the Eritrean Constitution.
